I love this time of year…the leaves are so beautiful as they change color. We get to start a whole season of being thankful with Canadian Thanksgiving the beginning of October and can ride that straight through to American Thanksgiving the end of November. Actually, we always want to be thankful! It’s been 3 months since I did a blog post, so I figured it was past time to post a few thoughts… As I look through my pictures from these last three months I am just so very thankful for the special times we have gotten to spend with family and friends and the beautiful places we have seen and gotten to explore. We were so thankful for the opportunity to visit Canada and enjoyed getting to have Ben back to visit for a month.

We have a couple more weeks here in Montana before we fly back to Switzerland. We will be there until the middle of January. We then fly to Orlando, Florida for a two week development project that Darrel volunteers with for Youth With a Mission’s University of the Nations. We plan to explore the Florida and Georgia coasts on the evenings and weekends and then slowly work our way back to Montana by May.
Though you may think all we do is recreate (that is just when I tend to take pictures, Darrel is very busy. In fact, after owning and running his own software company for over 20 years he has just become an employee for one of his clients. He is their Vice President of Information Technology and Business Intelligence. He is looking forward to the challenge of working in a larger organization. We will be able to continue our mobile life style as he is able to work remotely.
Life is sure never boring and you never stop learning! Each age and stage in life seems to have so many things to discover and adjust to…and just when you have things figured out, the factors change. We are aware of our continual need for the Lord’s leading and guidance in all areas our lives. I am thankful that we serve a God who cares about every area of our life and wants what is best for us!
