It has been a busy couple of months. There has been a recurring theme – changed plans. We had planned a longer road trip back to Montana in April, but after hitting a deer in Utah on Easter Sunday, we ended up cutting that short so we could get the truck fixed in Montana. We enjoyed getting to be in Lakeside and Plains for the month of May. Special highlights were connecting with friends and then having Darrel’s dad and brother Tim coming down from Alberta and Ben coming up from Salt Lake and getting to spend time with John, Brianna and Hudson.
I was able to make a trip over to see my brother and his family in Oregon the first week of June with my sister and her two daughters and then see my other brother in Idaho on the way home. After being in Lakeside for a week our plans changed and we ended up heading to Colorado earlier than expected to attend some meetings. After those meetings were complete, we were able to enjoy almost a week in Keystone. From there we drove and visited Dillon, Aspen and Vail…places I had heard about but never seen. The mountains here are beautiful…and there is a lot more people you get to share them with. I saw more ski hills the one week we were in Keystone than I had the whole rest of my life!
Currently we are at the YWAM base in Colorado Springs on another development sprint. Darrel continues to volunteer to help write the software that manages the student records and courses for YWAM’s (Youth With a Mission) University of the Nations. We are here for two weeks. I am cooking for the team and providing logistical support.

We thought we would be staying in Colorado for the summer to volunteer, but due to circumstances changing that plan fell through so we get to head back to Montana for the rest of the summer and plan to head to Kentucky in the fall. We continue to hold our plans in open hands before the Lord and ask him to direct our steps.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:33-34
