This last weekend we arrived back to Lakeside, MT. We had left here last September and made a big circle driving the motorhome 5275 miles through eight states staying in 29 places. It was a wonderful feeling to be returning to an area where you don’t need Google to navigate and you know your way around. That is why they say there is no place like home! We arrived on Saturday evening and Sunday evening it started snowing. So despite our best efforts at missing winter, we didn’t totally miss out.
As far as what is next…we plan to be in Lakeside until the middle of May and then we plan to be in the Plains area through the summer. It will be wonderful to be close to Brianna. Today we look forward to celebrating her graduation from Journey (8-month gap year internship that focuses on service and and outdoor adventure) at Camp Bighorn.
It feels like we are entering a new season in our journey. We spent the last 7 months travelling and exploring and now we will be in one area for an extended amount of time. As I look back on what we experienced and the friends we met, I am thankful. When I look to this next season and anticipate time with friends and family I am thankful. God is so good and he has blessed us in so many ways! So it is with a grateful heart that we enter this next season and anticipate great things.
